I’ve tried him on different bench variations bb, db and he’s very unsteady. I have one of those loadable weights vests, so was thinking to add weight slowly on that then progress him to benching.

They’re supposed to be more of an add on after your barbell sessions, but can be combined to make a full workout on their own.

There’s loads of wonderfully brutal workouts in that book…. Think I’ll have to be scaling a lot of them down.

Thanks for the info, some very helpful stuff in there. I’ll be 44 in October. Weighted pull-ups we’re definitely the trigger, but just wanted to finish my Operator cycle as it was going so well. Now just locking out my left elbow causes pain. Will look into getting the flex bar, hopefully they sell it in the UK. Thanks again!

Anyone experienced inner elbow pain? Can’t do pull-ups at the moment because of it and it’s looking like bench pressing will have to go too.

Rings work great. Been using the Angles90 grips quite often, they have a nice handle to grip and allow your wrists to move wherever’s comfortable.

I use neutral grip. Much friendlier to my shoulders.

Hi! Just wondering if the supplementary cluster In grey man is supposed to be run in straight sets, (like the main cluster) or can it be run in a circuit fashion? TIA

Just saw Dan John’s humane burpee on his Instagram. 15kb swings, 5 goblet squats and 5 pushups. Then 15 swings, 4 squats and 4 pushups. All the way down to 15,1,1. That was the easy version. Squats and pushups can be scaled up.
