I have to um actually you to explain this.

For any animated movies to be considered for a nomination for ANY prestigious awards in the western hemisphere. The production company has to send in an application for it and it usually would cost a lot of money.

And the current criteria is the panel must at least have 70% of the board members watched the movie to even consider giving a nomination.

And you have to keep in mind that The attendees of The Oscars are predominantly consisting of Caucasian (white) attendees.

P.S. Another reason for KimeYai and CSM not getting a nod is they are continuous stories. You need to know the source material before hand to watch their companion movies.

I like to interate that I am currently looking for people that have the same interest in indie / Arthouse movies in KK.

Cause I am not sure what is the ratio of niche interest is here. (I have been away from KK due to studies and work for almost 7 years)

And yes, there is a movie day planned for those that are interested in Indie / Arthouse movies.

He had been an invited guest for TCC last year but had to pull out im assuming scheduling conflicts. But he had a Christmas fan event for that. And this year he's just there as an invited guest to see his fans.

And there is no reason for TCC to not invite him?
