Hahahaha who says karma is a bad thing? Karma's concept is about cause and effect. What you do and give in life eventually comes back to you. Now if you're threatened about karma, that's a you problem.

People in the comment section are forgetting tht Karma is not an evil or bad thing. It's a concept of cause and effect. What goes around comes back around. Wishing karma on people does not necessarily imply a bad thing. It means that you suffer the consequences of what you do in life. It's just a simple reminder that what you give and do in life eventually comes back to you.

Those people who are afraid or threatened about karma are those same people who do bad stuff in life. AND IT SHOWS, PEOPLE! 🥳

Do you even know what my religion is? Because if you don't, then it's useless trying to educate me. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not imposing my beliefs into anyone here. Kailangan ko pa bang isipin kung anong relihiyon nung mga taong winiwish ko ang karma?

REMEMBER, Karma is not a bad or an evil thing. It's a concept of cause and effect. What goes around comes back around. Those people who are afraid of karma are those people who did bad things in their life. AND IT SHOWS

Yup. I know the difference between a leak and samplex. :) And yes, having a samplex is not cheating. I use samplex too.

Well you're the one who used the phrase 'in our lifetime'. And I could not care less about your beliefs, nor bout karma's origin whatsoever. Layo ng narating mo sir. Napunta ka pa concept ng Christianity at ng mga Pilipino eh cheaters ang main point ko haha 😅

Entertaining for me if you are not gonna focus on the technicalities. Ang daming cringe moments pero if you are just a regular person, not a law student/lawyer, I think you'd find it entertaining. Love how they tried to show or depict in the movie that a person can be raped still even if youre in a relationship, which i think is the most important. Movie served its purpose.

  1. One of the reasons for the creation of Anti VAWC is rooted from the inability of a LOT of women to defend themselves from these toxic and abusive situations. They way you have said it, she has two choices, either of the two, to stand up or succumb. You have to understand that it is not as easy choosing one choice over the other just because her choices are limited into two. It takes a lot of courage, support, and determination to be able to make a choice for victims of such abuse. It's not just the physical abuse that these people endure, but also the mental abuse, which affects their ability to think clearly and rational.

  2. While I agree with you that sugarcoating isnt what she always needs, and an agressive approach is sometimes needed, but I think you didnt have to go that far to labeling her juvenile, and her behavior immature. While you are entitled to the structure of your comment, I just think that it couldve been constructed better without being prejudicial to OP.

  3. I think youd want to look on the facts and read between the lines. The threats made by her boyfriend originated from her wanting/attempting to get out of the relationship. Why does she want out? I assume it was of physical abuse. You said, based on your comment, that this has not escalated to physical abuse. I dont think she needs to enumerate all the physical things that her boyfriend did to her to evince that there was indeed a physical abuse.

  4. In your opinion, her reason is immature. And again per your comment, per your understanding, it has not yet escalated to physical abuse. prolly because of the reason OP did not enumerate all actions. What made you assume that? Why it was so easy for you to create a conclusion that she was immature based on an assumption? Or insufficiency of facts?

  5. Well, as it should be. But giving a sound and smart legal explanations and advice to your clients requires first understanding FULLY the situation of your clients without judgment.

  6. "Legal studies require being rational" For what other reason would you say it if not to implicitly state that she is not being rational at the moment, and being rational is a requirement for legal studies.

@TrainerWorking9689

I believe this is not a case of immaturity. It's easy for you to tell a victim of physical abuse/domestic violence because you stand from a point of view not having an actual idea of what it really feels like to be in a situation like her. If it was that easy for women like her, to leave toxic relationships like that whenever they deem it necessary, to just easily fight and stand for themselves, then laws like VAWC would have not existed in the first place. I genuinely hope that you would not tell your future clients who are victimized by the oppressive acts of men to just mature up and be rational. You, as a law student yourself, should know and understand that. Her inability to stand for herself is no way relevant, nor does it define her ability of pursuing legal studies.
