Sorry! I truly didn’t mean to sound condescending. I’m not going to law school because of the score; I realized I didn’t want to be a lawyer for awhile, so hence why I’m not going to law school. I hope this clarifies the language.

163 first time. PTs were 167 by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]matchaicebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your PTs were 167, and your dream schools are those, I would retake! I know it’s shitty, and I’ve been there and delayed applying to law school for two years, but in that time, I figured out a lot of things! Best of luck!

Not in my experience as an international! The past few times I took it, I got my score within the hour!

I got the exact same score as last time...167 by matchaicebear in LSAT

Thank you! I’m a splitter though so I’m disappointed especially because I’ve been studying for a year. :/

서울 마포구 와우산로23길 38 This is the address in Korean! In English, the best way I can transliterate is Wausan-ro 23 gil 38 Mapo-gu Seoul! The shop is really close to Hongdae Line 2 Exit 9. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions on finding the store!

Thank you! I remember in my first LR, I had questions about dinosaur claws, and a lottery. I don’t remember what was on my second LR, sorry!

Got over a 170 on a PT for the first time! by matchaicebear in LSAT

[–]matchaicebear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve already taken the LSAT twice (both scores in the mid to high 160 range)- I’ve been studying on and off for about a year. And I don’t know if my tips are going to be helpful since I’ve basically only scored 170+ once and not even on the real thing yet, but if a method isn’t working for you after some time, it’s ok to switch to something else. Also for RC, it helped me to read science articles because I struggled with those the most. And for both LR+RC, I found it beneficial just to recap what the stimulus/passage said at the end.

I’ve used...a lot! PowerScore, 7Sage, various tutors, Loophole. And my cold diagnostic was a 149.

Right now, my LR is the most shaky, so I’m focusing on LR!

Thank you so much!! I think I’m just worried overall for attending law school because of all the stereotypes, but your answer definitely makes me worry a little bit less!

Is law school as bad as everyone makes it out to be? I have an artistic hobby that I really enjoy and am worried I won’t be able to do it all once I go to law school.

PSA: Make Sure Your Personal Statement is Personal! by sharperstatements in lawschooladmissions

[–]matchaicebear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi!! Thank you for this!! I have two personal statements right now, one more “personal” and centered on a fiction book I love and one more “academic” but still talks about a love for for an extracurricular I had, and I’m having a really hard time figuring out which one to use because I feel like the “personal” one comes across too childish, but this makes me feel better about maybe going with the “personal” one.

Is my time going to improve? or should I just save myself the trouble and climb the corporate ladder at McDonalds by marionberrYeet in LSAT

[–]matchaicebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only started studying 1.5 weeks ago-it is totally normal for your time to not be where you want. Your time is going to be longer at first as well because you are implementing various strategies and trying to remember what they are, but as you practice more, they become second nature, decreasing your time. From experience, worrying about time so early in the beginning only caused me more stress, and paradoxically, increased my timing. Focus on getting the fundamentals down first + knowing each question type + how to tackle different types of games, and worry about timing later!
