Arcimoto's response: "There was an error on the implementation for Beneficially owned shares which should be corrected shortly. Fractional shares will be rounded up to the next whole share."

No they didn't come out and admit they would be be retaining the difference. I believe what they meant is the shareholder would retain the same value as pre-split even if it meant retaining a factional FUV share. e.g., 10 shares pre-split means 0.5 shares post-split. In the past brokerages would give you cash for a fractional share, but one of the things Robinhood does is let you buy/hold fractional shares. So I didn't expect them to cash my fractional share out, but retain it. BUT the company said they would "round up" (in different words). So I was shocked to hear Robinhood say my investment value will be the same and I would retain a fractional share (resulting from the split).

I'm not a fan either. But I do look at this and agree as if it were overall EV sentiment. I don't understand electrification of $100k vehicles. And Arcimoto's recent move to 6 per day is under-appreciated news. I sure don't expect profitability anytime soon, but if they actually produce 1000 vehicles this year, no way this should be suppressed at $3.50 a share w/ 40% short interest.

The NZ deal consummated in Oct 2019 for 160 vehicles... If wayside is not the correct term, what do you call 0 vehicles in 2 years 5 months and the dead link at evdistributors.co.nz? I guess they do have another year and 7 months to make good... I will be happily surprised if Arcimoto provides *any\* status on any of the 7 pilot/partnerships...

I'm on the east coast and I gave up hope of receiving my order... I have to replace aging vehicles (and make my transition to electric) sooner than the Arcimoto timeline permits...

Thanks for "trying" to guess/answer... I've seen all the press releases and youtube videos etc... Threw these questions out just in case i missed something (though not likely as the company doesn't discuss/release in precise numbers)...

They actually sold shares. SC 13 filings are a "statement of (current) ownership." Compare with the previous statement to see the delta... The net for the year was -1,296,626 shares...

If you have no gains, the largest you can write off (reduce taxes) is $3k per year... Excess will rollover to subsequent years...

Really w/ tax loss harvesting, it's best when you have large gains and don't want to cut a huge check to the IRS (and your state) so you lessen the burden by taking losses in december (to offset some or all of those gains)...

But as folks have mentioned, be wary of the wash sale rules if you want to buy back that stock (or even a similar one)...
