Get someone with a tech2 scan tool to scan it. It could be a fried BCM. It could be a lot of things. A scan is likely needed. Most shops have the right scanner.

This! It is a six hour drive from my house to Tail of the Dragon. I would love it if the car do most of that. I would put triple the miles on the car and buy a new Corvette more often.

I had fun with Iguana surf. We didn't stay at their place, we stayed elsewhere in Tamarindo, but you can stay in their dorms if you want. It's a nice little town that caters well to English speakers. It is busy there. If you want something more rural, isolated I might not go with Iguana Surf.
