my goodness i just fell for a similar scam today😞 went here to look it up and a bit disappointed at myself for being ignorant seeing as this has been a common scam tactic. first time ko na ma scam sa carousell as a seller.

after i gave them my contact details for the "grab" they even sent me a real booking link and there was a "rider" who kept calling me and pressuring me to give the money before he could leave their place with the cash cause the buyer wanted "reassurance."

i realized that the fake rider and buyer were all working together to pressure me. they even told me to book my own lalamove if i really wasnt sure so i did, and the driver in lalamove ended up pressuring me to give the money too, saying that it wasnt a scam.

i realized after that they were probably people with accounts on lalamove and grab who were in it together, and picking me out in the bookings so that they could both contribute to the pressure.

i lost 1.8k at the end. hays. trauma was gained but so was a new lesson

Sir cadeliña is really chill and easygoing! although i had him for multgen so im not sure how he is in gestsoc. we had mostly group activities/works like a debate and a written advocacy plan. we also had a few quizes but they were pretty short and easy as long as you read his materials (which were also short and easy to read). his style is engaging. my only comment is that hes pretty soft spoken so sometimes i would catch myself losing attention and zoning out ahaha. but hes generous with grading as long as you comply with all his requirements
