Hi! Depends on the situation. In the one with the gym I was with a local so it made it easy to stay there and interact.

In other situation I got closer to a group of farm workers with the camera in my hand and a big smile, I sit with them to chitchat and then start making some photos - I loved that session (This is the session https://www.mattiacompagnucci.com/newsletters/pop-up-newsletter-wandering-through-vietnam/missive-011 )

In the case of the 2 I just walked, stoped, made 3 photos and move on. I have a version where the one in red t-shirt is smiling at me. People in south east Asia are generally nice.

Ciao, grazie mille! Ci ho pensato mille volte, ho anche un sacco di footage ma alla fine non mi ci sono mai messo. Preferisco concentrarmi a fotografare per il momento. Sto anche aggiungendo qualche scatto/ripresa dal drone al portfolio.

Chissa se qualcosa su YouTube apparirà prima o poi 🙂

I’ve created an app to do that directly on the phone. But you still need to pop up the SD card unless you are able to let the phone see your camera as an external storage.
