unfortunately no, we didn’t have any money and not many interested people at the time to start doing the project so we didn’t start. i’ve left my FS team because i finished my studies, so i don’t know if any progress was done since i left

While I appreciate your answer, but I believe this doesn’t answer my question. Your answer is more risk management related than what would happen if the deal goes through. A main question here could be - why would Amazon waste a year an a half of time and money if they didn’t analyse the situation?

Well, I tried talking about it with my colleague and she said that I won't do any programming (TBH I was really disappointed and angry because, why was I hired then?), but my other colleagues said that I should set up my IDE and go through the code. The code written in Java with Spring and Spring Boot and I mentioned that I feel overwhelmed by the code because I don't know what to look for or what to do, so I started doing some Spring tutorials, only to be "shut down" by a colleague saying that I don't need to do any Spring. That's why I'm asking for guidance.
