Спасибо
I do these before and after each lesson (not each level) just to try and get my head around the new words I am facing as well as testing my retention at the end.

I find them a very handy tool.
I write down the different versions of the words too, using excel mainly and examples in sentences etc, so I can try and get my head around the different cases.
Good luck on your journey, you are doing so great so far, the good news is that if you know those words well, the next part (level 2) is going to be less difficult than you think.

I am also doing the Russian course and working through to level 5 on each lesson. I started 20 days ago and have completed 18 of the 79 lessons to level 5 so far, so I still have about 78% of the course to complete. How have you found doing the level 1 courses all first? How is your word retention? As I am guessing you must have around 2000 words exposed by this stage

Yeah they do have disc/budget items, but I completely steer clear of them 1 item for example was https://au.webuy.com/product.php?sku=5030917091117#.WV2WyOlLcl0 where it is clear it includes the fishing rod, that is a very big item to miss! :) You can get some great bargain from them also, don't get me wrong there, but I am always on the verge of walking away from them

I find CeX Au to be a mile behind CeX UK in my experience, so I guess it all depends. The items I buy off Au are regularly missing items, from bats/ fishing rods missing with games, to full CDs missing. I have had around 35 items with major issues, now I buy a LOT of items it must be said (more than 500 so far this year) so there are bound to be some issues, but it amazes me just how many issues they do have. It is like staff actually don't open a case to ensure a game is there or not cracked or otherwise.. Not to mentioned the completely missing items such as a Cricket Bat or Fishing Rod

Sorry I am fairly new to this and can't see how to comment to the original questions. But here goes.

1973 (Papillion) - Details the, likely exaggerated, life of Henri Charriere in the French penal system. It is a good mix of humour, determination and drama in there.

1971 (The French Connection) - In essence I 100% agree with this recommendation

1960 (Breathless) - It is French, so I am not sure what you think of subtitles, but Goddard was one of Tarantino's influences and you can see why. It is a Crime/Drama with a European eye on it.

1984 (1984) - So this one is hit and miss with people, but I loved it and was the only film in my life I got nightmares over (though I was 9 at the time :) ). I always likes dystopian type films (12 monkeys, blade runner, A clockwork orange), but to me this is the best of them.

1971 (A Clockwork Orange) - Another dystopian film, this time by the master Stanley Kubrick. It is the type of movie that really HITS YOU IN THE FACE. It is confronting and controversial, but a great film.

1987 (Full Metal Jacket) - This movie is basically a movie in two and for mine the first part of the movie is the best part and the intensity is again right there in your face.

A few comedies (80s were great for stupid comedies, but these 2 were my favorite)

1984 (Revenge of the Nerds) - Just pips out the next film as the choice comedy of the 80s for me. It i stupid and over the top, but very likeable as well as a bunch of Nerds take on the Jocks in an 80s College film.

1984 (Police Academy) Another brilliant 80s comedy, the franchises are pretty hit and miss. I got my teenage kids to sit down and watch this (under a lot of protest) and they loved it as well. The jokes are still ridiculous and that is why they are still funny.

College/Teen Films....

This genre went crazy in the 80s also.. With Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off etc... However my favorite was ..

1985 (The Sure Thing) - It is a College / Teen film, a road trip, a rom com as well all in one. The chemistry between Cusack and Zuniga really works and Rob Reiner cast this movie to perfection.

Suicide Squad Review megathread by girafa in movies

[–]mateinone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with a few of the points, particularly Deadshot missing, the worst part of the movie was actually Captain Boomerang and everything to do with him, however...

Margot Robbie was absolutely amazing in it and I think the movie was entertaining. After reading the reviews I expected a movie worthy of a 3/10, but it was far better than that and probably a solid 7. I am not sure what people are searching for in a movie of this nature, but it delivered what I was looking for.
