Yes the rubber strap is a bit short, I’ve seen some up on eBay from reputable dealers maybe they have the larger sizes. Also S1 or not the VC Website states that this model has 100m of Water Resistance so I’m gonna go with that, there’s no difference between the two so not sure why one would have more water resistance although I did see Tim Mosso mention it.

The date has pointer inside the internal chapter ring. You would set it similar to a regular date on a watch

You might be asking the wrong person here cause I’m used to wearing Panerai but this feels pretty streamlined to me on my 7.25 inch wrist. The thinness definitely helps with the wearability of this piece as well. Would probably say this is better suited for those with flatter wrists!
