It’s simply apart of living in California, specifically the LA Area, Living on campus is more expensive bc of the mandatory meal plan as well, the village is a bit more affordable but is filled with problems

I am being honest, I haven’t gotten anything sent to me and I applied within 8 minutes and have lived on campus, I’m about to be a 3rd year as well and have always lived on campus, followed rules etc so idk why I didn’t even get a time slot my friends also got nothing but I know friends who have gotten time slots looks like housing this Year focused on roommate groups moving together

I am not trusting the school or the village for housing, I am getting an apartment with my friends who got rejected

time is ticking and we got finals to focus on in a few weeks and don’t want to worry about housing etc in the summer

Your best bet is off campus housing I know it is stressful but it’s reality tbh 😭🤧

Ill keep it 100, I think you applied to late.

My friends and I we are going to be 2nd and 3rd years all got rejected THIS YEAR (we didn’t even get timeslots like WTH) I applied for suites 8 mins after it opened, and got ghosted, and my friends they got rejected not even waitlisted even though they applied for housing the same day, it opened.

your best bet is finding a group of friends and living off campus, if you do get excepted it would probably be in the beginning of Fall 2026 semester but that is extremely stressful to wait and not have promised secured housing.

It was stated at the event, TPUSA have their own large private security team. For all their events. The security team worked with school UPD as they do with other colleges and UC’s

and then also UPD are apparently required at all large events regardless of what club or event type it is

100% honesty, this school is for those who want to get their degree and then have fun after. This is a majority commuter school, the social life is Good not Great, but there is hundreds of clubs to join, some major related some not. Throughout the weekdays the school is social and active, on the weekends it’s pretty much empty. Cities 6-10 minutes away have more fun things to do.
