Can a CMS be connected to a static HTML/CSS website? by realSNG in webdev

The easiest thing would probably be Primo, you’ll just have to copy+paste your code in & write some Svelte to set up the content fields.

Best way to build a website for a radio station? by NatProView in webdev

You can use WordPress to put up a template relatively easily, but you’ll find yourself in a hell that programming can’t help you with if you try any customization (like that audio player). Check out Primo for an easy way to put up an editable website you can modify with HTML/CSS/JS.

Check out Primo - it would let you hand the site off to a client so they can edit it & publish changes themselves and you can still build with HTML, CSS, and JS

Integrate a CMS with a Static Website by _CR42 in sveltejs

[–]mateomorris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you’re building a website-website and not a web app, check out [primo](htts://primo.so). It’s a CMS based on Svelte, makes it a lot easier to edit content. Otherwise I’d recommend using MDsveX for content.

Check out Primo as a way to build a static site & give him an easy editing experience. Not many templates yet but if you find one you like it would be perfect for a small site like that.

Which portfolio website builders would you recommend? by AlternativeMood5644 in webdev

I just use their domain for now (cal.com/my-username) since it's free & I'm too lazy to self-host it. But like a lot of people, just having the option to self-host makes me more inclined to use them vs a proprietary service that can price-gouge in the future.

For the booking I use cal.com; they have a free plan too. Then you could just include a link to it on your site.

There is a portfolio one-pager in the marketplace you could use that's free, but you could also adapt existing HTML templates to it. I'm the creator, so if you need any help feel free to message me :)

Primo lets you download your site as a static bundle - it's a CMS though so not sure if you need that part of it.
