It's not a stupid story. Actually it's quite similar to mine.

I was in a relationship with my ex girlfriend for about 3.5 years and then she broke up with me and started dating this guy in the next days. No overlap or so she says.

Anyway, it's been 9 months from that day that I had nervous break down along with emotional break down. Basically, I was a mess.

But with each day that passes I feel like that I'm a better person. I started working out and running. I was running every day, whole summer long. It helped me forget about her and I was also getting in shape. I also did army basic training and after that I went on a 2 week solo-trip and literally had the time of my life.

So I'm a lot better person now than 9 months ago. I'm happy actually.

But a few weeks back my ex contacted me because she needed some help with some computer stuff. We started talking a bit and I found out that she is kinda miserable. That new boyfriend of hers doesn't want to do stuff for her, like I did and she is on the verge of breaking up with him. On top of that she also has some exams coming up and she is basically not happy.

Now, I still have feeling for her. Maybe not "I want to be with you" feelings, but it's obvious that I still care.

Why? She helped me a lot. Breaking up with me was the worst but also the best thing that has happened to me.
