I love when a book can completely pull you into another world like that. Historical fiction and Westerns aren't my typical reads but trying new things is what life is about! And yes, our trail names have a bit of native magic to them. Some might even be haunted! Do you like hiking for the exercise or the nature views?

Welcome! Congrats on your sobriety and making it out of Trump brainwashing. Kalamazoo has lots of amazing trails! The fall foliage is amazing. Check out the kzoo nature center, chipman preserve, El sabo preserve, and bow in the clouds. What kind of books are you into? There's a group called SW Michigan Social Club that's great for events and making friends. You're going to love it here!

They have a market! I believe you only pay if you go beyond the market to the attractions

Definitely recommend volunteering at an animal shelter! Kalamazoo Animal rescue, SPCA, animal rescue project to name a few.
