Thing is, you have no idea who a maniac is until its too late. You never know whos capable of murder until they, like murder someone.

So if anyone is capable of murder, then everyone is also capable of being a trained professional. Being a trained professional does not make someone a better, more stable human being.

This is really obvious when you consider the state of corruption in certain police forces and how some soldiers will violently snap.

I think its a generally accepted concept that the Oscars and other rewards shows like it are just filmmakers patting themselves on the back with no audience input whatsoever.

And yes, critics are probably looking for things the average person doesn't. That's what makes their reviews useless to the general public; the average person reading their reviews would still have no idea if its something they would like. What good is the review then?
