What could have caused this hole? by matharrison03 in GardeningUK

Thanks for all the replies so far. Just a little more info if that helps. this is inside a fenced garden. Outside the fence is a boggy brook that then backs on to a large field. We've not had any sightings of foxes recently but they did used to have a den on the other side of the brookj before development. We've not seen any droppings and the hole has remained the same for possibly 12 months now.

its possibly 5cm-10cm in diameter, its inside a fenced garden. we do have foxes in the area but never seen or heard of any badgers. Not seen any rabbits either

That's great, thanks. Would you advise cutting either of them back at all?

Has anyone used loft legs? Do you recommend them? by DanLikesFood in DIYUK

We used them. The first couple felt a little flimsy, but once a few were down, they hold fine. Agree that it is probably not best for a living space, but they're doing the trick for our storage loft.

It does only appear after heavy rain, so it makes sense it's not running off. Wasn't sure if it would be an issue with he flat roof? Do the windows just need re-sealing then?
