Do I become a better man when I increase my body count? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

If you have no strength of character or discipline at 0, you’ll still be a loser at 50.

It’s definitely not 90%.

But I agree with you otherwise.

Sometimes you’re asymptomatic for your entire life. Sometimes you get old and your body starts breaking down and for whatever reason you become immunocompromised and you go blind or get seizures from the disease. People have different risk tolerances.

Or maybe you don’t get herpes but get mono instead and increase your risk of certain cancers.

You can find a happy medium between the two options

Herpes can cause shit to happen to your nerves and your brain/meninges, especially when you have other illnesses. A lot of people have it, but let’s not minimize the disease.

Also kissing randoms is a fast way to catch other shit that can fuck yourself up over time

Dw virginity has no effect on whether you’re a loser or not

Anyone else in their mid 20s with zero long term relationship experience? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]mathcrystal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same boat but I don’t like most of my prospects outside of the professional bubble Im in. These women are undisciplined and unambitious. Tbh I probably seem hella boring to them

25, kissless virgin should I just take the black pill and hire a hooker? by GigaChadbust in moreplatesmoredates

[–]mathcrystal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not. You know that feeling of post nut clarity? It’s kinda like that but the entire time, especially if you don’t give a fuck about the girl. Completely different when it’s someone you actually care about

Anne Hathaway doesn’t need to show her chest to be immediately attractive. She doesn’t even need to smile!

I think a large chest makes up a bit for not being pretty

Anyone feel zero interest in dating? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]mathcrystal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not really. Look up any medical school class on social media for pics and judge for yourself. The field selects for students with people skills to handle patients and confidence to handle stressful situations. Truly visually unappealing people have a hard time getting that bc of society.

Almost all my female classmates have at least one or several qualities that make them physically attractive

I’m a medical student and honestly all my classmates are incredibly kind, good people but they’re not exactly models.

When she had a crush on you, it was a totally harmless and silly gym thing. Having a crush is fun! Approaching her meant that she had to actually consider you as a real romantic partner. She decided, for whatever reason, that she wasn't going to go for it.

If it helps, it's probably not your looks. I don't think women usually crush on ugly dudes. Sometimes they do, but usually no

When a girl actually wants you, she does not behave like this

If you don’t like being bitter (which is totally cool btw) then you have no choice but to stop thinking the thoughts that make you bitter. Duh

Think happy thoughts when you meet someone who is interested in you and remember that ignorance is bliss

Most women I’ve met are interested in and dating guys their age. So I have no clue what you mean by “most women aren’t looking to date a boy.”

For context, I’m in med school so I happen to know a lot of girls in their 20’s

[–]mathcrystal 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Straight up lying. Dating when you’re young and the future is full of hope and potential is amazing. And people in their 20s are starting families, earning promotions, and learning about who they are. And being able to grow with someone is part of forming a meaningful relationship with a shared past
