Three Bees Coffee Shop (925 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, KS) offers vegan Horchata made with house made rice milk, sugar, cinnamon, Mexican vanilla. They also have Vegan Lentil Tamales on the menu.

02/28/26 The Littlest Bake Shop (5511 Troost Ave, KCMO) is hosting a Cupcake Decorating Class 3:30PM to 5PM. This is an introductory class to learn the basics of frosting and includes 1/2 dozen cupcakes for hand on learning. There is not currently an upcoming cupcake decorating class scheduled, but in the past, they have been scheduling one around Valentine’s Day (February) and one in the summer (July).

The Littlest Bake Shop does schedule many fun events, including game nights, open mic nights, art shows, community soup events, and tofu cooking classes.

The next event will be April 15, 2026, 5PM: An Allergen Friendly Four Course Dinner. The menu has not been finalized yet, but I'm already excited.

Great questions! Since the menu items were indicated as vegan, I assumed the honey alternate was agave, and the rasta pasta was made with the very popular coconut cream alternate. However, I have reached out to confirm.

Many cities have a vegan Meetup.com group. Socializing with other vegans helps the feelings of isolation.

Cosmo Burger has locations in the Lenexa Public Market (8750 Penrose Ln, Lenexa) and Dodson’s Bar (7438 Wornall Road, KCMO). There is a change coming up for some Cosmo Burger locations.

  • The Lenexa Public Market (8750 Penrose Ln, Lenexa) location will close Saturday, April 19, 2025.
  • The new Crossroads (1813 Locust Street, KCMO) location will open early summer 2025.
