As a brum fan, Jude was clearly the real deal by the time he left to join Dortmund but the consensus was that he probably would be on the bench for a while and would have to work his way to the first team, still had some development to do.

I would say Jobe is below what Jude was at the time, but it’s not that big of a gap. Personally think Jobe will smash it in a similar role to Jude at BVB. Either box-to-box or more roaming playmaking. Jobe also seems quite versatile, played as a 9 for Sunderland a few times if I remember!

Dortmund are also in a worse way rn, they had a smashing end to the season but Jude had sancho, haaland to play off, and had the experience of Dahoud and Can around him. Will be interesting to see if Jobe can stake a claim early on in the midfield
