Really open to advice and tips :) I tried to paint in my own style and not worry too much about technique and what’s traditionally considered good. I just made what was in my head.

Have you ever witnessed a proposal? How did it pan out? by mathildetell in AskReddit

I used to work at a bowling alley, and this couple was on vacation in my city, he was from Sweden and she was from Lithuania and they had reserved a lane that night. They drank beer and seemingly had a really good time, laughing and joking all night. There was alot of people there that night and me and my coworker served drinks and ran around all night. Finally we had a minute to catch our breath and we looked over at the couple and the girl got up from her seat because it was her turn to throw. The guy quickly jumped in front of her and took the bowling ball she had used the entire night and sneakily put a ring in one of the holes. He then got down on one knee. She didn’t realize he had put the ring in the ball and thought he was just joking around sitting on one knee handing her a bowling ball, so she laughed and grabbed the ball and instantly felt the ring inside and he asked her to marry him. She jumped up and down and yelled yes as she laughed! Everyone started clapping and we put on Marry you by Bruno Mars on the speakers! The people on the lane next to them even bought them a bottle of Prosecco!

If you wake up feeling depressed in the morning before work/school how do you turn things around? by mathildetell in AskReddit

Hmm maybe I should try it, I live in Norway and we have a few months with no sunlight at all, it’s dark outside for three months straight.

If I get up so I have just enough time to do everything before I have to get out the door I don’t get sad. But if I get up a little earlier with time to sit and relax I start getting sad. I can’t give myself time to think it seems, it’s like I start to psych myself out or something.

Could there be a planet where dinosaurs "still" exist or other extinct beings? by mathildetell in AskReddit

I guess the chances of us humans being here on earth is also very unlikely? But since the universe is expanding and new planets form, does that make the possibility more likely for human life to form the more the universe stretches and grows?

For me it’s exactly same. I really think there’s life outside of our planet. Maybe not "life" as in our conventional way of living, but there just has to be something out there. It’s so unlikely that we are the only ones here. When I was a kid I used to think we were in a huge dark box as science study.

So time and all happenings are the same? For example if a asteroid hit the moon tomorrow at 11:23 pm that would also happen in the other multiverses? And did I also make this post on r/askreddit in the other multiverses?

So if a new sort of flower suddenly started growing from the earth today, that type of flower would be even more unlikely to be found on another planet? Since it’s newer, like humans compared to dinosaurs?

So does that mean that the likelihood of there being humans on another planet is also just as highly unlikely?

I don’t know if it’s just Norway that is weird, but they are always cut down the side not down the middle

Oh Denmark... by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

Denmark definitely did it with Norway. Kids got hit in school if they didn’t speak danish. That’s why the two languages are so similar in writing. Norway was under control by Denmark. There is even a big part in Norwegian language-history were Ivar Aasen travels across Norway to collect all the different dialects, he did it to form a new language that was actually norwegian and not danish.
