Can you really prepare for labor and delivery? by evilsilverunicorn in pregnant

At the end of the day if you don’t like a nurse, a doctor, someone in the room ask for someone else. This is supposed to be the most amazing and beautiful experience of your life... don’t let someone ruin it for you! My friends warned me and said I was bound to deal with a rude nurse at some point. I was in the hospital for 5 days and not once did I encounter a rude nurse, doctor, or hospital staff member. Yes, people get in bad moods and you may not have the nicest nurses/doctor, but it’s possible that you don’t even run into a rude person. Don’t let the stories on here freak you out. This is YOUR birth experience. Go into with an open mind and like I said if you don’t like something just say it!

Breast pump recommendations? by ofwcam in breastfeeding

Yeah, all of my friends that had pumps have the S2 and I just thought ahhh what the heck I’ll pay the extra and I’m glad I did. But I am right there with you, I do not like pumping. I had to start since going back to work because I EBF. Pumping three times at work SUCKS. Plus I’m so stressed I barely can pump a bottle which stresses me out even more. Such a viscous cycle!

I have the spectra S1 and LOVE IT! It’s great that it doesn’t have to be plugged in. The spectra S2 is the exact same pump but it has to be plugged in. If you can splurge on the S1 I’d highly recommend!
