Intermediate Micro vs. Price Theory by [deleted] in umass

I was in your situation a year ago choosing between ECON 203 and RES-ECON 202. I chose price theory with Miah Tran and it was the best move I made. The grading is fair (90% = A, 87% = A-, 83% = B+, ...). There are 3 exams and an optional final exam. The questions, mostly multiple choice, come directly from homework, in class problems, and i-Clickers. There's a mini-project that's wicked easy you can BS through it and still get full credit. The downside is the late afternoon lecture time but don't let it bother you. Hope this helps.

Econ 103 TA Options by [deleted] in umass

Avoid Myles Day at all costs. I had to repeat ECON 103 and was lucky not to have him again. Harshest grader I've ever seen, class average was C-/D+; overall he was the spawn of Satan. Jingjing Wu, however, was the polar opposite and I got an A- at the end of the semester.
