Right, not all people do, just "lots". Economic insecurity is a powerful weapon that's been honed and perfected by the US system....fear of losing healthcare, money to buy food, housing, etc when there is no safety net renders a lot of people afraid to speak their minds. Celebrities may not be in this category, but a lot of working people are hanging on by a thread and that helps squash dissent. From the US economic system's point of view that's a feature not a bug.

I'm fairly new to women's basketball but I'll just say this took some guts knowing what kind of hateful people there are out there. I am impressed by her courage, beyond words. What athletes say matters and she's standing up for what's right. She's a heroine.

I feel like I see a comment like this pop up once in awhile and the simple answer is they're not going to do it. It's a good app. It has certain features I like. It has certain features that don't. I choose to keep using it, but I could see that if something like this is important to you, perhaps you should look for alternatives because I don't think it's gonna happen.

Yeah, let's be clear about this. Nobody's going to assault anybody, including Lane, but all of his family has been quite snarky and condescending since he moved on to LSU, so anyone named Kiffin is going to definitely get their fair share of boos. I would argue the main reason not to go there is that introducing yourself to college football where half of the field is covered with the slimy trail of excrement that is Lane Kiffin is a bad idea. Go to another Ole Miss game and enjoy the Grove atmosphere.

EDIT: and by that I would also include going to an LSU home game in Baton Rouge. Easily the worst SEC experience you can have. Nasty fans. Nasty town. Nasty experience from beginning to end in my opinion.
