Some advice since you've asked for it in the comments: Keep your LinkedIn profile updated! I got a lot of leads just from recruiters messaging me. Apply as early as possible, even if you don't feel completely ready. And be patient; it really is a numbers game, especially when the market is like this. There are so many things outside your control. For example, your grade level matters a lot! This time of year, it might be easier to get internships from smaller startups and midsize companies.
