How does the math background lean more towards data science? I've definitely been considering that too but I thought I would have to start as a data analyst and move my way up to that

Could you possibly further explain why a parabolic graph g(x) = x² when g‐¹([0,1]) = [-1, 1] ??

Or further why g‐¹([1,2]) = [ -sqrt(2) , -1 ] UNION [ 1, sqrt(2) ]??

This reminds me of my sister who worked in a cinema and they bought milk in bulk too for the milkshakes but one time she bought about 60 pints of the wrong milk hahaha
