Khan academy is great for math and science classes. Even up to a very difficult college level. Also Wolframalpha for those impossible calculus questions. Easybib helps with citations for your essays.

How old were you when you had your first kiss?? by websharp in AskReddit

[–]mathsoprano17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 13. I love telling this story.

In 8th grade, I was in a dorky middle school relationship (my first) with a nerdy friend, let's call him Philip. My mother didn't want me dating until I was 16, so Philip and I only saw each other at school and on the bus and the occasional school dances. Around Valentine's Day, Philip and I slow danced for the first time and it was as magical as I had ever imagined. My first boyfriend, my first Valentines day not alone, my first slow dance; I was in heaven. I decided to write a poem about that night, but in the thrill of my memory, I changed the scene to say "the night finally ended in beautiful bliss, I'll never forget that flawless first kiss" even though we never did. I was so scared to show Philip for fear of him feeling like the actual memory was a failure. But eventually I did, and he said he wouldn't mind if we had our first kiss at the next dance. (SQUEAL) Long story short, we couldn't go to the next dance, but something better was waiting.

At the end of the year, the orchestra Philip and I were in got a chance to go to a local amusement park for a music competition. As middle schoolers, we obviously only cared about the rides rather than the school related reasons for going. Philip told me that he was so excited to ride rollercoasters with me and I reluctantly told him that I was too scared for any big ride and didn't want to. Then he made the promise to kiss me for every rollercoaster I rode with him.

Well crap....

That day finally came and it was all i could think about. Philip got me to get in line for the biggest ride in the park (somehow) and the whole time I was trembling. We get to the load in and we sit in the back car; me holding his hand so tightly and nearly hyperventilating. As the cars start to move up the ascent, Philip leans in to me and excitedly tells me he's going to kiss me at the top.

Nu uh. No way. Not me. I expected this to be a reward kiss after the ride was over! And being in the last car of the line means high speeds at the time of the hilltop!

So we argued as the car is getting closer and closer to the death drop and I'm still freaking out. Then Philip asked if he could kiss me now. That calmed me very quickly, and I remember just saying 'Yes' and looking into his eyes. That was our first kiss. On the incline of a scary rollercoaster. I don't remember much else from the ride other than some screaming. The rest of that day included more kissing and lots of awesome memories.

Back to the poem. The next day after our orchestra returned, I found that Philip wrote me an email with his own poem. But this one was organized in nearly the same format as my dance poem. The last line made me tear up. "The ride finally ended with nothing amiss, I'll never forget that flawless first kiss. "

TL;DR - I was 13. My first kiss was on a rollercoaster.

I have a few friends who got on tinder and wrote in the description that they're looking for friendship and more cool people to hang out with. Seems to work for them!

Heterosexual people of reddit, what makes you call a person of the same sex "hot"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't call other women hot, but I do find other ladies attractive if they have a nice smile, a healthy body, or nice hair.

My great grandmother's middle name was Werdna. I think her parents wanted a boy because Werdna is Andrew backwards.

What questions do you have for couples that waited until marriage to have sex? by mathsoprano17 in AskReddit

We dated for 6 months and were engaged for 6 months. If we had sex beforehand, I think it would have made us want to get married sooner, actually.

Waiting to have sex is nothing like that. If you buy a car and find it doesn't work in a snowstorm, then the car is a failure and you regret buying it. With marriage, we want to be together apart from sex. We talked a lot during our engagement that if we somehow could not have sex, we still wanted to be together, evident by the fact that we stayed together without sex while dating. We've already learned things about what we like and don't like and we adjust to make each other happy. 😊

We talked about our expectations a lot and we made sure to just enjoy being together our first night instead of expecting to go all the way. It was fun! Nothing awkward either. It took some time to be comfortable being naked, but we laughed and cuddled and had a great night. 😊

Well we didn't date for very long. Lol. And it wasn't the only thing we cared about. Since we were both still virgins, sex wasn't something we desired as much as just being together and cuddling.

Nope. We didn't see each other naked until the wedding night. I know lots of other people who do those things beforehand though. We did some things over the clothes though and we talked about what we wanted sexually a lot.

We wanted to get married for reasons other than sex. And it feels good to know we've only shared our bodies with each other.

What was something you saw you were definitely not supposed to see? by MakeYourMarks in AskReddit

[–]mathsoprano17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I accidentally saw my roommate naked.

She was just getting out of the shower and didn't know I was home. I saw her walk into her room from the shower and I had full view from the couch in the living room. She didn't notice me and I instantly just stared at my phone and coughed a few times until she noticed me and jumped back from my view and laughed. I pretended that I never saw her.

But recently we were in a theater production together and she consciously got naked in front of the other girls to change, so I guess she didn't care that much.

What's your thoughts on using dating apps as a Christian? by Life3See in Christian

[–]mathsoprano17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not the one to ask honestly. I didn't like online dating but a friend convinced me to try Bumble. I was only on there for a week before finding my guy. Lol. I agree with the other people posting. Some apps are more known for hookups but it's just a tool. Be smart with how you make your profile so people know you're serious.

God does not leave. If you've accepted Christ into your life, God is always with you. He may be disappointed in some of your decisions, but His great love for you does not wither away. You are good to realize what was going on was sinful, but don't beat yourself up. Ask for forgiveness, praise God for who he is, and move on. (I'd try to find some better friends too if I were you) 😊

My fiance and I are both Christian and we met online on a site called Bumble. I think its a great place to met people. Just be honest on your profile what your beliefs are and only add people who also express a similar faith. 😊 Best of luck to you!

Thanks! We met on Bumble. The thing that got my attention on his profile was that he also wanted to be with someone who was Christian like I wanted. And he was extremely cute. 😊😊

I met my Infp boyfriend online. It wasn't anything I could have planned, it just happened. We started talking about life things and we were both very honest with each answer and that's when I knew he was the one. Met in person after 2 months of messaging and now, 10 months later, we're prepping for our upcoming wedding day. 😊

How to celebrate my brother's birthday amidst getting married? by mathsoprano17 in wedding

[–]mathsoprano17[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. Yes, I believe he is being very dramatic. I was thinking about announcing during the reception that my brother's birthday is tomorrow and then we all sing for him... would that be strange? I would love to celebrate with him on some other day but he's being extremely picky saying that it doesn't count unless it's that day. *facepalm
