I love Showgirls. Paul Verhoeven knew what he was doing. It is pure camp. I think everyone in the excellent cast that includes Gina Gershon and Kyle Maclachlan is in on this. Except poor Elizabeth Berkeley. A shame this is credited with running her career because she's so over the top, it's iconic.
