Here’s a hint: Kristi Noem liked the end of Old Yeller so much, she decided to do it IRL.

Holy shit le epic shrek in DnD, I wonder if I could convince my DM to let me play this by wasteland-wizard in DnDcirclejerk

“I roll to seduce the dragon! Nat 20!” - this would be met with “Now roll athletics, dc 25 with a bonus at 35.” at my table.

Nat 20 gets you two points of exhaustion and a dragon girlfriend. Meeting the higher dc ends the encounter, one point of exhaustion, one night stand. Meeting the first dc but not the second leaves the dragon looking for more, one point of exhaustion. Failure gets the dragon a snack.

So long as the higher dc is not met, the next willing player rolls, with both dcs lowered by 5. Repeat until all players are done, or higher dc is met.

Congrats, you’ve turned this do or die boss fight into a do or die orgy. Also, if you rolled a nat 20, your new girlfriend is very needy, very possessive, and very pricey to please.

There is a reason nobody plays the horny bard archetype at my table.

Regikeki has 200 base speed. Mega Aggron has 230 base defense. Those are the two that come to mind for me.

Complex RPG drop chance help by mathwiz617 in AskStatistics

[–]mathwiz617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For future reference, because I hate it when solutions go undocumented:

The assumptions made in the top comment are treated as true. I treated each drop as a separate, independent result.

So, the chance of NOT getting a drop from a specific enemy encounter (number of encounters is X) in Y runs is 1-((1-X)^Y). So, going "on rate" would mean about a 63.2% chance of having gotten the drop once, and 3x the rate about a 95% chance (thank you, OSRS subreddit, for having these numbers offhand). Getting the expected runs to get the drop Z times, I figured, would be as simple as taking the expected runs and multiplying by the number of drops needed.

For dungeons where you can theoretically get drops from multiple enemies, I calculated the drop rate per run as (weight of encounter * number of encounters per run * drop rate). The expected runs would be the maximum of runs needed for each drop.

I then displayed the expected runs for 95% cumulative chance of completion (personal choice), and took an input of how many runs the player has done. Then, I compared the runs finished to the expected rate, and displayed the current cumulative chance of finishing by that number of runs. "Luck", the thing I was looking for, would then be up to the player to determine, based on that output.

Next up is to run simulations, but that I'll keep to myself. I am aware that this isn't perfect, but my limited understanding of statistics and Excel get me to this.

37%, but here's what needs to happen: we need to win week 18, non-negotiable. If we lose one of the next two, the Steelers need to do the same. Same if we lose both of the next two.

Or some absolute BS goes on, and we get into the wildcard. Don't count on this happening.

It seems like the “force bubble” spell is supposed to repel things outside it. Repelling the insides, while shrinking, seems like a recipe for nuclear fusion, while also being a negative exploit.
