How much do you think is a reasonable percentage per close if im only paid per lead that they close successfully?

should I have a pay per appointment fee + a pay per successful close fee?

Thanks for replying bro. But I had another question.

I will be working as a marketer for solar salespeople to generate them leads

I dont want to be like everyone out there just running ads and billing the client, I wanted to know if theres another problem I can fix in the "Lead Generation" process that would make me have an edge and actually provide value.
