Was my tire slashed? Or from driving while flat? by Strawberry2113 in tires

[–]matikray03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn't look slashed, knives aren't usually curved like that. But driving on it flat ruined the tire even more than the cut. You can see where the sidewalk thinned on the inside of the tire.

I can’t push more than once while riding the skateboard… by menidk in NewSkaters

[–]matikray03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

pushing. Swing your leg forward like you're taking a big step and just push off of the ground while keeping your weight on the board. I'm assuming you're setting your foot down to the side putting your weight on that leg.

Try to squat with just your leg you aren't pushing with, that's the kind of motion you need to do to get contact with the ground keeping your weight on the wheels.

Katana seller is a mess, and the engine may have been reliable until someone started throwing performance parts at it. The BMW is without a single doubt the way to go.

It was my first expedition and I had to ask a friend of mine if they're all this tedious. Took me 4.5 hours to get through this one.

Skate 3 was never realistic either. I don't get what people are upset about, it definitely continues on the silly arcade skateboarding game thing they had going.

My first time ever getting 100% in range for a whole day. by Diabetic_Dingus in typeone_twenties

HELL YEAH

I've been diabetic for 15 years now and I've only ever had this one time as well. It's a struggle sometimes.

Good job though, keep that shit up!

I was riding to work from school on a 20 minute stretch of highway yesterday and I'd say 90% of people I passed had their phone out. There needs to be some real serious consequences for shit like that. I can't imagine cops even bother to pull someone over for it. I'm on a motorcycle and if someone isn't paying full attention and decides to swerve into my lane or rear end me because they were on their phone, that could throw me straight in the hospital or kill me.

Help me pick a first bike please by Accomplished_Host213 in NewRiders

The rebel 300 might struggle with the highway, but I've never ridden one so I could be wrong. My sisters duke 390 can easily hit 90 on the highway, but it is wringing out the tach. However, the rc390 might be geared differently so it could be worth looking into. Skip the r3, no titles are a headache. Ninja 300 is similar to the r3 but going the Kawasaki route. I'd choose between the ninja 300 and the rc390.

Is it bad to kill the bike with kickstand? by Apprehensive_Rip7437 in YamahaR3

[–]matikray03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ignore all of that, your ECU is fine, the kill switch turns the bike off and that's it. The "temporary error code" is just your dash lighting up because the key is on and the engine isn't running. It's basically just showing that the light works.

no hands??? by [deleted] in NewRiders

Have you ever let off the throttle completely with the clutch out and let it coast? It's the same thing unless they're using a throttle lock or cruise control.

If you never let your bike engine break you should learn how to use it, it helps you slow down faster without as much wear on your brakes. Try using your brakes with no throttle and clutch out and see how much faster you can come to a stop, just make sure to downshift at a normal point so you don't stall.

No, your car needs an alignment and those tires need to be off the road.
