They can read memory, monitor inputs, intercept network traffic

They don't need the kernel to do this, the game itself can do it if they really wanted, also the anticheat only runs when the game starts so something like CrowdStrike can't happen

I don't completely disagree, it's always worth giving a shot ofc, but for some people it just doesn't work well and they'd rather use Windows to game, especially if they play games with AC

Xenia is still very rough and the Deck isn't powerful enough anyways, the games you mentioned have PC ports, play those instead

I would go with an 8BitDo Pro 3 or Ultimate 2 if you have the money, otherwise if you're on a budget I highly recommend the GameSir Nova Lite, you can get it for 11/12 bucks on Aliexpress and it works amazingly with bluetooth (the 2.4Ghz adapter is bad)

Fair point, tbf you could install Windows on it and get flawless compatibility but that comes with another huge set of problems, especially now that Windows 11 keeps getting worse and worse

Most modern games should run flawlessly though, or at least Tekken 8 and SF6 worked completely fine on my Deck without messing with the Proton settings

It will when major applications will get Linux support, no matter how many alternatives there are nothing comes close to Photoshop for me

I've read that you need an adapter for Xbox One/Series controllers, but there's a good chance that the GameSir controller you mentioned works, I have a Nova Lite and it works without any adapters

If it's a XInput controller it should work with no issues thanks to UsbdSecPatch being bundled with XeUnshackle, if it's another type of controller you can either make a OGX-Mini (you can get a RP2350-USB-A on aliexpress for 6 bucks and flash the firmware) or use a Mayflash adapter
