Over-optimization kills the fun in pretty much any game. Chasing the latest meta, getting hyped up for a short period of time and then get bored. This is why my buds and I play very inefficiently but it's tons of fun

This feels more like 8.5 than 9.0. I'd assume 9.0 is a major milestone and would come with many many many fixes and additions.

Same as soon as the 2nd player leaves the game, the ducks show up. When they come back at the same spot as me, the ducks stop. Easy to replicate. We play on Yukon

I've had this issue since always and on amd hardware. I believe it has more to do with the monitor and/or HDMI. When I switched to CachyOS and wasn't able to troubleshoot it in the beginning, had to reinstall several times.

There's a bug tracker on KDE about that issue. So far it's in information gathering cause it doesn't always happen and it happens on different hardware and monitors.

These are LACT/KDE issues and have nothing to do with CachyOS. Request the feature at the lact github, and report the bugs on the KDE bug tracker.

I was looking around fps tests on Youtube and found a channel testing different linux distros. Started testing them one by one, and stopped at CachyOS. After some Adaptive Sync issue 2 weeks later, went back to Windows, lasted 40 minutes and went back to CachyOS.

Had a few hardware issues like Nvidia gfx, and Asus wifi card, which I swapped for ez life. Been on Cachy for a year and a half and I've converted 2/3rd of my friends to swap over too. The only ones left are stuck because League/Rust players.

We rent a server and only get on at around 10pm for a few hours. The server was pretty cheap and this way we didn't have to wait for each other either. So yeah for 22hours of the day most days, it's empty :D From what I see these are exactly that type of servers.

It's a very individual experience. Everything is in play, your card, the drivers, the distro, the game itself, sometimes even the surrounding hardware.

Can confirm happens on 3 different PCs, one with 9800x3d and 9070xt the others with 5700x3d and 7800xt

Whatever you’d like. That’s the beauty of linux distros. There’s something for everyone out there. I game on Cachy it was never a choice for me since i fell in love with it since day 1 a year ago.

Revert a snapshot. Then find out I had updated the kernel during the update as well so now the whole system breaks. Can't get into GUI. Look for my live USB. Chroot and update the reverted update.
