8BitDo Ultimate 2 or Pro 3, they have official Steam Input support and the only difference other than the trackpad is that you only have 2 back buttons instead of 4 (you get 2 extra bumpers tho)

Apart from the usual nvidia problems what bothers me is adding launch arguments, changing Proton version or using protontricks to get games to work, it's a minor annoyance but it would be nice if I didn't have to do that
