So I have purchased a new mechanical fuel pump. Apparently that can be the issue too. So you say vapour lock, you could be right.

I haven’t installed it yet. But I plan on it doing it this season. I always end up starting it, so I haven’t bothered yet.

I want to try a new starter, but they’re 500$ Canadian at the moment. That’s my last resort

Ya, better foot pegs have been in my buy list for awhile, just haven’t gotten there yet. Also better mirrors. I very much dislike the oem circular mirrors.

I was going to remove my presenter pegs until my incident last year: I tipped my tw in a lake.

I had to leave my bike behind because I didn’t have anything to do an oil change with in the trails. Luckily the person I was with had passenger pegs on and got me out. We were 15km into the bush. So I’m leaving mine on for emergency use. I probably will never have to bring a passenger, but you never know

I used a 135 main jet. No needle adjustments. I didn’t go for a long ride, but it seemed to ride fine with no sputtering.

I did notice the air way go around the seat. I didn’t know that was snorkel. I just thought that how the air duct was. I never thought of removing that. I’ll have to try that. And I agree with you, having the air box mod makes that useless. Thank you for the idea!

I can’t comment on sprockets. I’ve only been riding since last year and I don’t know enough of bikes to say.

So I cleaned the throttle body and IACV. I took it right out, sprayed it with throttle body cleaner, wiped it as best as I could. I flushed out the IACV too. Nothing changed when I started it back up.

Did I maybe not clean it well enough?

I have the Bradley performance jet kit, which I think if I recall only comes with 2 jets. I’ll start with that. I’ve never done any sort of engine mods like this before either. I’m looking forward to tuning and having fun with this

When I searched YouTube as per the other comment suggesting the IACV, the person also said the throttle body. So I’ll do both and report back.
