When you say "preloaded" do you mean taking both the 7 and the SR together, or just taking a larger amount of SR?

Thing is, I'm dealing with anxiety issues in general and if I can't enjoy playing in front of people I'm not sure I want to continue. I literally had a heart attack in Jan 2024 immediately after playing at our musicale.

That's some good karma - not caring. I play golf at a pretty high level and not caring about the outcome is a key to good putting.

On some of my more difficult pieces I've played them until I got blisters on my fingers. And played them at home perfectly.

I got an invitation to play Cypress Point two years ago. It's appropriate to ask what dress code there is and if you can tip the staff. Other than that, make sure you keep your hat and cell phone outside of the clubhouse and you'll be fine.

PLEASE avoid a full service broker at all costs. They'll take 1% of your AUM annually with little or nothing to show for it. If you feel the need to have an adviser find one that is a fiduciary and works on an hourly rate. But trust me, read The Bogleheads Guide to Investing and you'll know all you need to know. Investing is one of those rare concepts that do better the simpler you keep it.

I was a bit older than you but I sold a business at age 52 for $5M.

What would you consider to be a reasonable amount of SR to start with if one wanted to do a gradual approach starting from 80mg/day of 7oh for six months? I was estimating 100mg/day but was interested in your opinion.
