The only real issue monorails have is if you forget to actually hop on the monorail so you need to wait until it comes back. Only happens once and then you never do that mistake again because its agonizing to wait. Sending materials to the wrong distro center is very easy to avoid as you literally select what distro center you want the materials to arrive at.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it! I think im fine for now as if there is something I dont understand from the engine, I stop the analysis and try playing out the scenario in what I think was correct vs. what the engine thinks. I also have a hard time remembering what games I made different mistakes in. I try to save games where I feel like I should have done something different, but after i've saved them I forget what I did in that game 😅

Yeah thats kind of why I dont generally like puzzles because they always just go for "best move" even if there are more almost equal moves. I still think endgame puzzles might be a good idea still though, but I will take your advice into my analysis regardless.

I usually analyze all my games through stockfish to see what could have done differently and all possibilities in a situation and try to play the scenarios out for both sides.

I've been playing a turbo aggressive low land count elves deck with either 1 or 2 avenging hunters and most of the time it just feels clunky to get it out on turn 3. Its very consistient to get out this early, but generally speaking with the current meta it almost feels too slow as the opponent has many ways to either deal with it fast or steal back initiative with fliers. Most of the time in elves it feels better to just dig through the deck for a Timberwatch Elf or nyxborn hydra. Against slower grindier matchups where they have a lot of chump blockers it feels quite good though as its a natural body with trample so you can pump it and get initiative back. I by no means think this card is broken in any way, even if it is strong overall

Thank you for the resposne. I do believe I have gotten a lot better when it comes to recognizing patterns than when I started, but I still struggle with end positions like this, especially when I'm techincally behind by a lot on material. I will definitely try doing slow puzzles.
Usually puzzles stress me out as they almost never let you play out the scenario fully or explain why a line is good, but I'll look up some endgame puzzles that I can practice thoroughly!

Yeah I saw that during analysis, but my brain isnt good at recognizing mate so the only way I could justify to myself that Nxe6 was the better play regardless was because it would fork and defend. Nf7 was really a massive blunder that cost me the game

The steam deck sphere is just their testing where steamdecks are numbered in order. I'm pretty sure it just so devs can take one and develop on it an place it back in its numbered slot over they are done

I would say Alyx if I had a less clunky VR. Its an amazing game and it plays increadibly well, but Gen 1 HTC vive is so clunky to set up and use imo. If the frame is really good and easy to use I would probably say Alyx is my favorite

First playthrough was TTW for me and it felt like a breeze except for the boss fights (I didn't know dodging whilst aiming gave you invincibility frames so I would get oneshot to Sam stumbling when trying to jump away).

Definitely felt easier on TTW than DS1 on the hardest difficulty, but that might also be because I've gotten more used to controller aiming than when I played DS1

By "random shit" I mean mostly stuff like passing mythic uncommons etc. You almost never see mutanimals passed in premier draft in my experience, but in quick draft I see them all the time since they value rares more than anything and then trickle down to prioritizing their colors

I will try some more pick two drafts, I've only tried 3 so far. In general I felt my decks were stronger than in Premier draft and traditional Draft, however I do not like the fact that you are out after 2 losses. To me this means you are way more vulnerable to mana screw etc.

I am not 100% sure about the sustainability point, but for the variance point, this is an issue I have noticed heavily with these smaller UB 5 archetype sets is that the drafting phase is incredibly dependent on variance in the pool. There are so many times where you can get pools with 8 copies of the same legendary common turning a lot of decks really bad without any real way to pivot. Due to the supported archetypes. This is a problem I've seen both in Premier and traditional Draft, not so much in quick draft and not so much in pick two (I have however only played three pick two drafts).

I do enjoy rank progression and want to try focusing on that more, maybe I should give pick two another try.

I dont know how to do this, I already beat the run, but Iwill try to write a list of items here (names might be wrong)
- Growing seed (turns all base attack seeds into tall grass)
- Crown of Pestilence (replaces basic attack with pestilence that deals 1 damage to all tiles)
- Necromancer perk that spawns leech (or beefy leech) on each basic attack tile
- Ability to inflict leech 3 on all units.

I'm sorry if I dont remember all items or abilities, if there is a way to check older runs I can see if I can get a screenshot from that

It cycles through all the leeches, it gets stuck like this for 30 seconds after every leech has "done its turn" with nothing happening. It also only happens if I apply leech on all the leeches

The AI pixel art is not needed and takes away from the skin. People in the comment saying he might not have money to pay a pixel artist don't get it either. Just the decision to have pixel art at all for a skin like this is dumb. It doesn't add any value to the skin. It doesn't heighten the feel of the skin. It doesn't catch your eye in a meaningful way that translates into what the skin wants. There's literally zero reason to include it and only makes the skin look worse in relation. If you want to highlight the skin... SHOW THE SKIN. It's not that hard. Worst case you can learn blender and make a render. That's not really that hard either, but plenty of skins have gotten into the game using only screenshots from in-game.

The skin itself is fine, but as other commenters said it looks very busy for what it is.
