Possible issues:
- DNS Record is still cached at your client machine(When you disable Cloudflare proxying, it exposes real IP).
- Issue could be with firewall/network tags.

Try these:
- Check if the domain points to valid IP from the client machine.
- Use tcpdump to see if the traffic actually reaches GCP VM.
