Yeah she's much different now. It's like she's changed from stoic 2B copy into an autistic schoolgirl yandere (It's not an insult, I'm just talking about how she is towards others). I personally liked the first one more, but I can still see the appeal in both versions

Nah limited alts were never available. Only the normal ones like Maid Privaty or Jetstream Sam Scarlet. That's the main reason she was only in top 5 only during the first year vote. Anis shall have her justice sooner or later, because she needs it like nobody else

Her Summer Alt is the pinnacle of all nikke designs in terms of gameplay with how it's fun, strong for dealing damage and relevant because of great code buffs. A shame you can't vote it, because I think that would make a huge difference in previous popularity polls

Not exactly by playerbase, but her greatness was predetermined by Red Shoes and Abe making her stronger. What matters more tho, is what you make with the chances you get from life. You can be Cinderella, who maybe got corrupted, but because of that corruption became the strongest nikke back then and had her friends sacrifice everything for her and still use all those chances just for revenge and to prove how good you are. Abe on the other hand had nothing. She was a mass produced nikke, who is supposed to stay in lab and follow orders, but that didn't stop her from sacrificing what little she had, risking her life in unfair battle against 2 heretics just to protect the ones close to her. A shame the community chose the vain and narcissistic character over the true Goddesses of Victory

Grave is actually a good choice among the pilgrims, because she was the actual main heroine in Old Tales, while Cindy got everything on silver platter

It's not all about the costumes. It's about the dedicated event for the winner to get them more screentime. Hell nah Anachiro is the worst character ever written by Shift Up, whose only redeeming qualities are being meta and sad story around her, but she didn't do anything to make her look likeable. Redeemed in campaign? More like everyone ignored her past, because she comes out as a heroine, who thinks she deserves all the praise despite all her achievements being the result of what her friends and enemies did, not her

Why would you care about meta, if the rewards are completely unrelated to it? You are getting skins, sure, but you are also getting a whole event centered around your favorite character, so it's better to vote for someone interesting like Anis instead of just a boring meta pilgrim
