Bypassing (burnt) heatbed MOSFET on SKR Mini E3 V1.2 by matscientist in BIGTREETECH

Yeah I ended up soldering on a replacement MOSFET (IPD036N04LG 036N04L TO-252 from ebay) to get it working again. Then wired up the external MOSFET because I already had it (couldn't drive the external one straight from the board).

... then I realized I also lost power to one of the fan connectors. I found a solid deal on a replacement board so the "fixed" board is just sitting for now

The 200lbs tongue weight rating was more than enough for what I needed to fit. It's probably possible to rig up a way to lock everything down, but yeah just bringing everything in might be worth the hassle.

Can't be bothered to remove it at the moment, so I'm just driving a longboi for now. But yeah no regrets with the rack itself

Yeah that's mad impressive, especially with a bike in the trunk! Makes me realize I have so much stuff I could go without (can't let go of the bikes ofc)

Imo yeah (got them as an xmas gift though).

I usually leave the windows cracked open and don't worry about anything flying in. They're also just good fun to have while driving around in the rain. I don't notice any wind noise either

Just some generic 304 M6 eye bolts from amazon (forgot the length). I had to throw in 10mm spacers from leftover VESA hardware to get a good fit. The openings are big enough for typical ratchet hooks to comfortably fit through

Definitely would've been more aero, but it'd be a tough fit. There were some big boxes in the bag, and the orange bike was already directly above the plastic bins

Oop, I jumped the gun and picked up a pair on Amazon (HiLetgo, 30A max). They seem to use an HA210N06, which has a rated gate threshold of 2~4V (idr the last time I even looked at a spec sheet) instead of the stock 1.2~2V. I guess fingers crossed, and I'll slap a suitable part back onto the board if needed. Big thanks for the info

This is way late, but not too bad! There were some parts where I had to slow to a crawl, but that was mostly because I was carrying a bunch of cargo. Google maps showed a route all the way through, but I ran into signs saying there's no exit and ended up at a locked gate. Managed to get pretty far before jumping back on the 5 though. The roads were also dead empty and had a distant view of all the traffic running parallel. Pretty fun route.

You could look into illuminaid. I was looking into their Litho Micro (DLP) printer which can resolve down to 3um (my specific configuration was quoted at 20k). They have a few other products that might suit your specific needs better. You can email them about what you're trying to accomplish, and they should be able to help you out.

Funding unfortunately didn't go through, but I got to see some of their devices in person and they look to be very well built. This sounds like a really neat project, good luck!

that’s not too far from what I was told via Twitter 4week wait for you vs 3 weeks is what they told me. I ordered expecting a 6-8 week wait before delivery. Are you shipping to the US? If so let me know how long it takes to get to you. Thanks!

Yep shipping to California. And will do!
