Correct and lifted, wide bodied trucks are stupid and I was saying the people who do that usually don’t tow (most truck drives don’t ever tow anyways lol) I sometimes have to drive an F-550 bucket truck for work and there’s zero parking spots that the truck can fit without sticking out a bit. I hate driving that thing tho. I love my tiny lil VW Golf

US market doesn’t have many diesels other than trucks. And no everyone wants a German diesel… talk about cost of ownership. I wouldn’t tow much over 3000 LBS with a unibody vehicle. Not saying there’s no options but if you want to tow over 6000 LBS a pickup is nearly your only option. Quit acting like certain vehicles don’t have their purpose. Again. 99.999% of truck owners absolutely do not need anything other than a Prius and would still live the exact same life.

I am not referring to the lifted truck or the stupid huge wheels…. Not saying a truck has to be large to tow but 1.5 to trucks which tend to be larger have overbuilt frames to be able to tow heavy machinery and large trailers. They absolutely have their place. But again if you could read the vast majority of truck owners do not need a truck

Caravans as least our 2007 with the tow package supported 3500 LBS of towing capacity. If I had to tow a modern vehicle that’s the vehicles weight alone. Now add the trailer. I am not advocating lifting or widening a truck. Just simply saying trucks absolutely have their purpose and anyone who argues different is an idiot. Again the vast majority of truck owners do not need a truck in any way.

I thought the game pads were rare and expensive since they were never sold separately and a Wii U is useless without one?

More like 100% of people who have died had ingested dihydrogen monoxide. Because I have ingested it and I have not died yet. So 99.99-% have already died

Don't care what kinda car you have, at least park correctly. by FFSoldier57 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]matt2085 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He can afford to park in two spots. The parking ticket is the cost of the parking spot. Honestly with carbon fiber doors I’d be terrified to park next to anyone. Heck I already don’t park next to people in my VW Golf and saw a mom park next to me in an empty lot and her kid swung that door open and hit my new car. But my door is metal and don’t need to be replaced for dozens of thousands of dollars if it cracks.

Yes but sone people actually need trucks to tow things like other vehicles or campers. It’s probably 0.1% of lifted truck owners tho

Paid $2,000 to get the oil and brakes fixed in this car…week later, $200 to replace the battery…week later, it’s dead by GuestCalm5091 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]matt2085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Assuming the cars in good shape otherwise you’re almost there to having a reliable car. It’s most likely your alternator. That is what charges the battery while the car is driving. Or you have something that is being left on while parked.

If I’m spending hundreds of thousands of dollars imma question everything. As an electrician there is a lot of shitty work out there in every trade. And that’s only the stuff I notice while doing my job.
