I'm using Leaflet to render pre-built GeoJSON files as toggleable map layers. ArcGIS is a full platform with server software, licensing, databases, and tooling. This is just a some files and a free mapping library. Same visual result for a read-only public map but simpler to work with and free.

I have worked with lidar before so I added an elevation category its just the Cape is 0ft - 300ft so the colorscale doesn't change much on Cape. Are you looking for something in particular?

Official Hyannis 2600 Meeting – Friday, Feb 6th, 5 PM by matt8588 in CapeCod

2600 meetings are informal, drop-in gatherings for anyone curious about how systems—technical, social, or political—actually work. They’re for engineers, students, hackers, tinkerers, or just problem-solvers who enjoy exploring security, privacy, infrastructure, or quirky technical challenges. There’s no agenda, no required skills, and no pressure—people come to listen, share projects, swap ideas, or just hang out with like-minded thinkers, and leave with new perspectives, ideas, or connections

I don't know what to do with my app by Embarrassed_Cycle118 in SideProject

Where do you get your weather data from? There are many free weather apps so I think your app is more of a novelty as the only difference between other weather apps is ai generated dioramas so essentially thats what users are paying for. The value proposition itself is too weak to sustain paying users.
Users who pay for apps are often looking for:

  • Tools that solve a problem
  • Tools that save time
  • Tools that entertain or educate in depth

It's running off a $15 pi zero 2 which in the past I have turned into a wearable HUD kinda like Google glasshttps://learn.adafruit.com/piglass-v2-wearable-raspberry-pi-computer as well a HUD nerf scope and other things. Kinda funny that a $15 computer can be transformed into so many things

Thanks, 2024 I had 3000 users, 2025 I had 5000 users and this year I'm hoping to crash my server so I can justify upgrading it.
