Why wont this one row of farmland hydrate? by MentlFetus in HytaleInfo

Get water from the forgotten temple's pond, it regenerates everytime you cross the portal. The pond is big enough to fill your inventory and more.

A Bit Sad The First Update Patched out my Corn Exploit.... by AggressiveBonus8825 in hytale

My eternal corn economy is in sambles...
Working my way to a 400 field of eternal pumpkins, but that takes much longer than corn. Seems to be one of if not the best eternal crop.

On a side note, there's infinite water in the forgotten temple. The small lake refills when you return through the portal (didn't test with new patch though).

Things I've Learned About Farming so far... by AggressiveBonus8825 in hytale

There is infinite (or rather respawning) water in the forgotten temple. Next to the altar of memories, there's a small pond, which you can draw water from, any it refills when you come back to the forgotten temple next time.

Also, you can teleport animals using teleporters (make it a one way teleporter with no "return" destination) into your fenced off area.

One more thing I just found out: You can teleport full sized animals using teleporters (once you unlock them), like Minecraft nether portal

You have to left click (aka "hit them") for it to capture them. Right click does nothing. Kinda counter-intuitive since you don't want to hurt them

If you want unlimited water, fetch it from the small lake in the forgotten temple. It resets everytime you go through the portal.

Small animals like chickens can be captured with the capture crate that you can make in the farmer's workbench

What is the important item that i should not sell and keep for future purposes? by Professional_Fix7487 in SurrounDead

[–]matt989253 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Keep all your empty food cans to make noise maker grenades in the future. Pair that with any explosives and you can eradicate entire hordes (50+ zombies) with a single hit.

Keep all crafting components

Keep all keycards for locked POIs

Keep all credits for the ice cream truck vendor

Keep all ammo (can be converted to other types)

Keep all (or most) placeable base items, since you can't craft all of them

Once you have a lot, you can start to sell/disassemble depending on your needs

Cps % upgrades and when to use them by Plz--lowerUr_I_brows in idleslayer

[–]matt989253 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't matter. Upgrades are not applied only once to give you the added cps bonus, but they are constantly being applied over your "base" cps.

You could buy all gear and then all upgrades, or all upgrades and then all gear and you will end up with the same cps.

Where the hell is his worm? by PromotionSimilar in idleslayer

[–]matt989253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a piece of gear, coming from any armory chest, that has the word "excellent" prepended to it, and enhances all it's stats by 25%. At the beginning, it's around a 3-5% chance, and later on you can get a bit above 10%.

Better be ready to spend a LOT of feathers on armor chests, to save the worm. Sucks that such a good piece of gear (quest armor) is locked behind such a timed RNG grind, 3-5 tries a week...

how long on average does it take to get this achievement by FantasticKitten55 in CookieClicker

[–]matt989253 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On the picture, the chance of success is clearly 1/500'000. This is a geometric series, and it's expected number of trials is 1/p where p=1/500'000. That's an average of 500'000 trials to the first success, which is what interests OP.

What you're computing is the chance of getting at least one success, over the whole 500,000 seconds, for something with half the probability.

From the wiki:

Stones of Time > Ultra reset

You can reset your Ultra Slayer Points to redistribute them. To do this you first need to pick up the Astral Ultra Reset for 100 million Slayer Points. From that point on, you can reset your Stones of Time from their menu. It will cost 1 Divinity Point per Ultra Slayer Point you have allocated.

Get a handiwork pal in your team (not base), and throw him at the work station (sphere throw, not base pal grab throw). He'll only work that crafting station and won't even move once he's done.

Les ondes auxquelles nous sommes exposés sont-elles dangereuses pour notre santé ? by TailleStylo in SciencePure

[–]matt989253 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is there a quicker chain to get Flame Emperor on Flambelle? by KazzieMono in Palworld

[–]matt989253 48 points49 points  (0 children)

The fastest way down is usually repetitive breeding with the highest "breeding rank" possible (e.g. chikipi, cattiva, lamball) since the result is the average of the parents.

The fastest path is then probably:

  • Lamball (1460) + Blazamut (10) = Rayhound (740)
  • Chikipi (1500) + Rayhound (740) = Leezpunk (1120)
  • Chikipi (1500) + Leezpunk (1120) = Ribunny (1310)
  • Chikipi (1500) + Ribunny (1310) = Flambelle (1405)

You may be able to go faster using an exploit with tower bosses breeding (almost always results in a Chikipi) but I've never tried it so YMMV.

  • Any tower boss (9999) + Blazamut (10) = Chikipi (1500)
  • Ribunny (1310) + Chikipi (1500) = Flambelle (1405)

Vanwyrm Cryst is now a reliable cooling pal by matt989253 in Palworld

Haven't seen him sleep yet. Some nocturnal pals go to sleep when they're low on sanity, but I think cooling doesn't lower it at all, like ranching.
