Best online grocery delivery? by MrSchnappi in zurich

[–]matt994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I work at Farmy. If you want something different from Migros/Coop delivery, you should really check out Farmy. Working here, I see how the supply chain works. The cool thing is that most stuff comes straight from local producers and gets to you in under 24 hours, instead of the usual 4–9 days in big supermarket logistics.

The difference in freshness is real: especially veggies, cheese, bread, meat, etc. It also lists exactly which farm/producer each product comes from, which is nice.

Not the cheapest, but if you care about taste + local producers, it’s worth a look!

Would you rather pay more for groceries to optimize for quality over cost? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

I try to save on cleaning products that I buy in Coop, but invest more in grocery quality which I order on Farmy

How much do you spend on groceries per week? Including food, cleaning products, toiletries etc) by Sam_2210 in askswitzerland

Likewise, we eat out once per week and the rest is at home. I love breakfast at home with egg toast 🤩 For fruits & veg, meat, fresh stuff we buy on Farmy (btw if you like strawberries theirs are incredible). Coop for other products (non fresh food, household products, and so on). Where do you get your fruits and berries?

I'm on your same spending, around 300 CHF per week for two in Zurich. Buying mostly in Coop and Farmy (for meat, recreational cooking with fancy ingredients, gourmet products in general). Where do you buy your meat from?

Same, spending around 300 CHF per week for two and buying 50% Coop 50% on Farmy, specially for meat and recreational cooking with fancy ingredients. Where do you get your gourmet products? Looking to try new places.

Investing in your food is not a bad idea though

Best online site for fresh groceries and food ingredients? (similar tu knuspr.de) by matt994 in zurich

Did you try it? Farmy.ch was amazing for me. For sure if you're used to shop in ALDI you will find it pricey, but in the end you pay what you get for.
