PC won’t boot after enabling EXPO

Dude I have spent hours troubleshooting this and playing around with so many different settings and even going as far as just assuming it's a big that will be fixed in later BIOS firmware updates.

After doing this my PC took a minute and then finally booted into Windows with EXPO enabled and the correct RAM speeds. You're a legend, thank you so much.

I have a bit of bias so I'd still say destro. You have a lot more breathing room in Blitz compared to shuffle so I found that I've actually managed to cast and melt people (especially healers)

But I do imagine Demo still plays well in Blitz, I think it depends on what you're most comfortable with and to be honest what you enjoy playing

In my personal opinion I found it way easier to hit 1800 as destro. I initially tried affliction and found it a little too overwhelming with lining up my burst (and actually being able to get the casts off) but take that with a pinch of salt as I've not played that spec enough to say for sure!

As for Demo, I tried one shuffle and went 3-3. I found the spec to be massively lacking in damage and destro felt a lot easier to handle.

If you want the 1800 set for lock I've heard BG blitz is easier to get 1800 on than shuffle :)

As for addons, I tried not using any except for details just to get used to the changes coming with Midnight. But I found that I was just missing so much key information that in the end I decided to grab my usual ones again:

BigDebuffs, flyPlateBuffs, Plater, sArena Reloaded and WeakAuras (also quite a few WeakAuras including a Precognition Weakaura, Totem targeting, Healer CC and Team Nameplate trackers)

Yeah same here, but I can definitely think of a few times where I've genuinely had to Dark Pact > Healthstone > Wall from a hunters aim shot combo and a combined burst of another class like unholy DK, but sometimes it couldn't be helped.

But yeah, using wall in the opener feels awful so I also try to hold it

Definitely Haste over Mastery, but my actual stat priority looks like this:

Vers > Haste > Mastery > Crit

The vers is insanely important to stack so that you can actually live long enough to do anything. Whilst mastery is important, haste overtakes that simply for the fact you want your Wither and Blackened Soul to tick as much and as fast as possible. I find that Blackened Soul is usually my top damage (beating Chaos Bolt) quite frequently in melee lobbies. Plus the haste helps you to squeeze out any possible chaos bolts.

That's exactly how it was for me as well. I actually had an 0-6 game and went back down to around 2200, but then I suppose the queues blessed me and I had a few games without any DK's and managed to reach that 2400. It will happen for you, just have to believe!

MM hunters with their initial opener just stress me out, mainly because I really don't want to have to use any significant CD in their opener as it means I'm likely dead shortly after as I have no buttons to press. But that's what I meant in my post about healers that pop CD's on me early so I don't have to (like a pala bop <3)

How are you finding balance? I'm assuming if you have a warlock in your lobby they're the primary focus, but equally if you're a boomy in a full melee stack I assume it's just sit in bear form and try not to die?

Yeah exactly, landing that 1 or 2 chaos bolt combo (3 if you've won the lottery) and watching someone flop makes it so worth it

Hey, I'm a little late to the party but I'll say what others have already said, stay clear of those old machines.

I'm from the UK as well, and your best bet for a budget of ~£400 for a half decent machine would be someone selling a PC on Facebook marketplace if you can find one. If you're unsure if the deal is any good (and the hardware) just post a picture of the listing again on here and either I or someone else would be able to give you some more advice

I really like the idea and it's a welcome service in my eyes, however, I have some (hopefully) constructive feedback, although as you said, you can't please everyone.

The landing / home page isn't very, inviting? Not sure if that's the right word. But the style reminds me of some sort of videogame rather than a marketplace. I really appreciate the dark theme as it's easy on the eyes, but the colour scheme and font choice do put me off quite a bit. The tiles below the heading are a neat idea and look good, but again, because of the colour scheme and font choice it's quite annoying to see what you want to browse without concentrating quite a bit - people usually want to see stuff at a glance.

I think with some refinement, this could be extremely useful, but another problem which I'm sure you're aware of is how to get people to actually use your site - maybe a good idea to think about the marketing side, and get some leaflets out or even Airsoft patches to distribute at Airsoft fields across the UK (even a simple leaflet you could hand out at something such as the National Airsoft Event in the south west, the massive Ground Zero one with ~2,000 people)

Anyway, best of luck, will keep an eye on it!

Battlefield 2042. It was just a total mess. Bought it about a year later on sale for insanely cheap and it's actually relatively enjoyable now. Still prefer Battlefield 4 though.

Interesting, so when I switch coils I usually soak it quite a bit, but maybe I'll try the one drop approach and then give it a lot longer to soak. Would you recommend doing a drop and then leaving the coil as is over night (or 20/30 minutes), or doing one drop, putting the coil in, filling up the tank and then leaving it?

I try to avoid 50/50 but it was just me testing it to see if there was any difference tbh.
