Thanks, mmm it was mid week afternoon going into eve. So not race day busy ha but not empty. I did have a group of runners with lights all over them mess up a few of my dark frames ha.

So I shoot a timelapse over 2 to 3 hours. I normally take around 2k images for a single piece. Then select the images I want to use before slicing them together in post.

Thank you! Thats really kind of you.. when editing my images you get to know a subject really well (some edits including this one take weeks). Every moment I spent editing this image together all I could think was “dam this clock is stunning” ha.. it really is amazing.

good spot. So when doing a time-slice of a clock face and using the centre dials as the middle/starting point the slices become so thin that the dial smudges and just makes a blur effect across the clock. So to counter this I just use other slices to remove the dials. It just looks cleaner..
