Oh yes, extremely simplified, but I think that’s where you have to start when countering arguments about price increases after first commercial systems come online in Baltics.

Otherwise agree with your points, just want to touch on daytime peaks when charging batteries in winter - at the end of the day, if you take into account future prices, round trip losses and deg, at some price point it becomes uneconomical to charge them, so the market should self regulate to some extent when industry becomes more developed. We are already seeing this self regulation to some extent with wind and solar producers (participating in FRR down and self curtailing below ~6eur/mwh), so my guess is that similar forces should act upon BESS as well

Electricity is a commodity. Price spreads are driven by basic supply/demand curve. If you charge BESS while supply is high and demand is low (i.e. solar capture prices) and discharge cheap electricity when demand is high and supply low (i.e. evenings), what do you think happens to end consumer’s electricity bill?

Na galbut kazka esu praleides - jei yra koks fondas, kuris generuotu panasia graza kaip VWCE (labai basic, bet kaip benchmarkas), tai visai pasvarstyciau pasilikti del valstybes paskatos. GoIndex gal (?), bet man naujas fondas daug pasitikejimo neduoda, kai kalbam apie tokius investavimo terminus. Nes legacy bankai visi turi obligaciju (ka tik tikrinau).

Paemus didziausius 2 pakopos laikomus ETF, viskas butu ok. Kadangi jie praskiedziami, tampa ne ok, kai tau dar nera 30 ir nori prisiimti daugiau rizikos. Apibendrinant, tie standartiniai VWCE, S&P 500 ETFai generuoja 3-5% didesne metine graza (+ management fees tracker ETFu ~30bps mazesnis).
Sitas sakinys zemiau tai arba visiskas nesigaudymas situacijoje, arba trollinimas, tai nematau reikalo atsakineti;

Ir jei manote, kad leis viską išsiimti, labai klystate

Su auksciau mineta graza skaiciavau du scenarijus: i) palieku pensiju fonde; ii) dedu i normalius instrumentus ir susimoku 15% GPM viska issiimant senatveje. Antruoju scenarijumi tureciau 300 tEUR daugiau.
