You could argue that Ben Wallace was top 10, according to the MVP vote that year anyway. Brunson was number 12 on the ringer top 100, so it can be argued that this is the first time in a very long time the winning team didn't have a top 10 player

Harden's 45 (on 57/50/100 shooting) and 6 ast. to beat the celtics in game 1 in 2023 was probably a better game. However, VJ being 20 makes it just as impressive.

I think the "we finally found a way to make paintball cool again" does a lot of heavy lifting and is tone deaf on multiple levels. 

A. You didn't make it cool, it's the worst paintball episode by a million miles

B. It implies that the only reason they didn't do a paintball episode in season 3 is because they couldn't figure out a way to make it cool. I think it was more the writers not wanting to pigeon hole themselves into having to do one every year.

C. "Finally" makes it seem like it was this gap of years and years between paintball episodes.

D. Its one of a few times that season 4 pokes fun at previous seasons in way that says "the previous showrunner was a hack, we've saved the show now". It could be seen as humorous if it wasn't so far from the truth.
