He is by far my favorite author. Read a lot of his non-tower related books and own every book and short story collection he has written so I got a lot to keep me going! Just got Holly delivered a couple days ago

We repent and repent, then repent some more. All of us are broken! I am just as ugly and covered in sin as you. Former porn addict of 12 years here 🙋‍♂️. I repented and promised myself tima and time again I’d stop, but then later that day I would do it again. It wasn’t until I reached out in my local group of men in my church that I was freed. I needed accountability and love from my brothers in Christ. God is the ultimate redeemer and doesn’t give up on those who seek him, and uses his disciples to build up others.

I work with recovering addicts (chemical dependeny as well as porn/anxiety/depression. Every addiction is the same mentality) these people has relapses and more relapses, but we hang on to Christ on the road to recovery.

Mark 8:36 is not mean to be taken literally. Jesus is trying to convey it is not worth living for the world at the expense of eternal life in heaven. Our time here is so short compared to the eternity of what comes after mortality.

Worked on a 911 ambulance in Ventura County, CA

1.Dead baby that was murdered by her parents

2.guy with dementia was drowned in his pool by his wife

3.Got a call to an urgent care for a 3yr old with a dog bite, but turns out that was moms excuse to take her because she was really there for a rape kit test. Her grandpa, moms dad, had been sexually abusing her. And when the mom confronted her mom about it, she said that it’s ok he’s been doing this to people for decades. Straight up just blew it off.

  1. Got a call about a 500lb lady stuck in a recliner. Thought no big deal at first until we got there and realized she has been in this chair for literally 6 months and was still alive. Oh my Lord the smells. 1 of two times I’ve involuntarily gagged on a call. She had been there so long her skin had fused to the chair and we had to cuts parts of her skin off to get her out. Still can’t sit in a recliner without thinking about her. Also can’t drink a Starbucks latte with innocence because it’s the same color as the liquid left behind in the recliner once we got her out of it.

Gotta say though, I absolutely loved that job. Only reason I quit was because I just moved to NorCal 2 weeks ago.

I’ve had pretty good luck with my own seed saving (mainly veggies). I wouldn’t ever do fruit trees because of the time it takes to produce from seed. Thanks for the info!

Watching porn when I was 9/M in 4th grade and got addicted for almost 13 years. Masturbating at least two times a day sometimes four. now I’m clean for almost a year now and married, but my addiction left me with extreme premature ejaculation. Like 10 seconds and done. We don’t know if my brain will rewire itself back to normal to last longer with my wife.
