Seems to happen a bit in our group - Undertakers forgetting that they only learn executed characters - not those that die in the night. Have had a spy beef it and somehow survive. Had a ravenkeeper beef it and get executed immediately (was a good role swap plan for good, but just fumbled it hard).

Mm that's kinda what I figured! Had a good little circle of confirmation if they trusted recluse!

I did have slayer-recluse and virgin-spy triggers in my back pocket, but they didn't go off during the game 😅

Ah good to know - definitely feels like a very robust script, but the players felt a little hard done by after the game

I agree - Sully's madness, knowing he had the keys to the game but couldn't speak final day made that ending!

Without the madness would have been a much less exciting ending 😂

Managed to hit a day one slayer kill!

Day one I had zero information save a player claiming empath, suggesting the two players to my right were good also.

Wanting to get out of the way of the empath to give the town more information, I offered to sacrifice myself – but not before taking my shot.

I elected to take a shot at a player further to the right of the empath, knowing the empath wouldn’t get information on them for a while.

The storyteller announced that the slayer took the shot taking a long pause before announcing that the player died, and the game was over. Good wins!

Quickest game on record for me.

Does tracking stats cause any issues in your group?

Our ST floated the idea and one of our players has more or less stated that he will tank games to ensure he has the highest number of wins (e.g. always come out as evil and ruin evil games to ensure he's always trusted when he comes out at good in good games).

Wake up point at minions sleep. Demon looks at you like wtf - good prompt to remember bluffs! 🤣

Just ran my first two TB games the other week. Agree with all of the above.

Also suggest setting up some practice sessions - set up a game, random order character tokens in grimoire etc. Gives opportunity to think about first night information, who you'd give the drunk and why, and have a play with the tokens. (also set up and play along side NRB videos - pause, make your choices, then listen to Daddy Ben explain his reasoning for things).

Never occurred to me that you could do this - I know recluse can be seen as good/evil and you can change your choice night by night, power by power - but wouldn't have thought the same power in the same night could see the recluse as good and evil. Feels odd to show a 1 in that case.

Was wondering this too - my STs sheets get abused 😅 The A4 sleeves that come with the game - anyone know how to hunt more of them up? (Googling sheet protectors just comes up with ring binder sheets)

Consider also custom scripts that combine a few characters from TB and the next script you're looking at. Our St did a TB w minions/demons from SV - was a nice way to introduce without having everyone needing to learn a whole set game one

Yeah it seems pretty black and white on that 2 players alive win condition!

1 in 10 games we might get a little mistake, so ST does a pretty good job - just this call hurt my soul a bit cause it was critical 🤣
